　　共同點 : 動作在過去都做過了.

　　區別 : 過去式只能強調過去的事, 和現在沒有任何關系.

　　I ate a piece of bread.

　　現在完成時, 過去的事情對現在產生的影響.

　　I have eaten a piece of bread this morning.I'm not hungry.

　　The clock stopped.陳述事實

　　The clock has stopped.過去的事實對現在造成影響

　　It snowed yesterday.

　　It has snowed yesterday.強調對現在造成影響

　　Lesson 7? Too late? 為時太晚

　　First listen and then answer the question. 聽錄音, 然后回答以下問題.

　　Did the detectives save the diamonds?

　　The plane was late and detectives were waiting at the airport all morning. They were expecting a valuable parcel of diamonds from South Africa. A few hours earlier, someone had told the police that thieves would try to steal the diamonds. When the plane arrived, some of the detectives were waiting inside the main building while others were waiting on the airfield. Two men took the parcel off the plane and carried it into the Customs House. While two detectives were keeping guard at the door, two others opened the parcel. To their surprise, the precious parcel was full of stones and sand!

　　飛機誤點了, 偵探們在機場等了整整一上午. 他們正期待從南非來的一個裝著鉆石的貴重包裹. 數小時以前, 有人向警方報告, 說有人企圖偷走這些鉆石. 當飛機到達時, 一些偵探等候在主樓內, 另一些偵探則守候在停機坪上. 有兩個人把包裹拿下飛機, 進了海關. 這時兩個偵探把住門口, 另外兩個偵探打開了包裹. 令他們吃驚的是, 那珍貴的包裹里面裝的全是石頭和沙子!

　　detectives 沒有強調一些偵探或者那些偵探, 強調偵探這種人

　　籠統感念, 可不加some,the

　　....were waiting... 故事背景, 用進行時態

　　They were expecting...期待著心理上的等

　　They were waiting for...

　　a valuable parcel of diamonds

　　a cup of tea 強調的是茶

　　South Africa 南非

　　a few hours earlier 幾個小時以前

　　a few hours before/a few hours ago

　　someone had told...過去完成時, 過去以前發生的事情

　　...that thieves would try to...

　　would+do 過去將來時,間接方式, 轉述, 站在過去看未來

　　that 從句.典型的賓語從句, 起轉述作用

　　steal sth.

　　one...the other.../some...others...

　　others=other+名詞復數

　　...the plane arrived,...were waiting inside the main building

　　while others were waiting on...

　　when; while 當……時候

　　while能用when代替; 　但是when卻不一定能用while代替.

　　while+從句, 動作一定會延續

　　when+延續性動詞/瞬間動詞; when he arrived

　　when he died

　　when,while強調動作同時發生

　　過去進行時 :

　　在過去的某一點時間, 或者是過去某一動作同時發生的另外一個動作

　　瞬間動詞(arrive)無進行時態

　　I am arriving 進行時態表示將要

　　When he arrived,I was having dinner.

　　同時發生的兩個動作, 均用過去進行時

　　When I was doing my homework,my mother was cooking.

　　When my mother was doing the housework,my father was watching TV.

　　同時發生的兩個動作

　　1.一個用一般過去時, 另一個用過去進行時

　　2.分工的情況, 均用過去進行時

　　When the plane arrived,...were waiting inside the main building

　　while others were waiting on...

　　Two men took the parcel off...

　　take sth.off...=take sth.away from...

　　and carried it into...carried 表示看得很重

　　...were keeping guard at the door,two others opened the parcel.

　　表面上是分工, 兩個動作同時發生, 不是同時開始同時結束, 延續時間不一致,

　　長一點時間的動作用進行時態, 短時間的動作用過去時.

　　keep guard 守衛; at the door 在門邊(固定搭配)

　　two others=two other detectives

　　重點 : 過去動作同時發生的時態

　　1.過去兩個動作同時發生, 習慣上一個用一般過去時, 另一個用過去進行時

　　; 動作長用過去進行時, 動作短用一般過去時; 分工的情況, 動作的開始時間和

　　結束時間幾乎相同, 均用過去進行時;

　　I was listening to the radio,my sister was dancing.

　　2.兩個動作在同時段進行, 在不同時間結束, 先發生的動作未結束, 另一個動作

　　發生, 先發生的動作用進行時態, 另一個動作用過去時.

　　When the telephone rang,I was opening the door.先開門

　　When the telephone was ringing, I opened the door.　電話先響

　　3.瞬間動詞沒有進行時態, 所以兩個動作同時發生, 延續性動詞用進行時態, 瞬間

　　動詞使用過去時態.

　　賓語的位置和詞性取決于施加動作的動詞

　　介詞出現, 一定要有賓語, 所以　v.+prep.+賓語(n.)

　　副詞可省略.v.+賓語(n./pron.)+adv. 或　v.+adv.+賓語(n.)

　　at,after prep; off adv.

　　vt.+賓語(及物)

　　vi.+prep.+賓語(不及物)

　　take vt./look vi.

　　I always take money with me.我身上總帶些錢

　　7.lift up...-->up(adv.)可省略; lift(up)sth;lift sth.up

　　10.send her away...---her(pron.)

　　11.pull down...-->pull(vt.);down(adv.)

　　pull one's leg 開玩笑

　　You are pulling my leg.你開我玩笑

　　12.make up...--->make(vt.)up one's mind習慣用法不換,語法上可換

　　13.ask for...-->ask(sb.)for sth. 其實是省略sb.故不可換

　　賓語的位置和詞性取決于施加動作的動詞

　　詞組當中的練習, 短語be interested in 不能用at on等代替

　　如果不能接收, 就記住－－放棄

　　如果已經說過, 還沒有明白, 就要執著弄懂
